Our client, who are one of Kent's most rapidly growing Independent Insurance Brokerages are recruiting for 2 Commercial Account Handlers to join their key account team.
As a business, our client employ circa 100 staff within a professional broking environment, and they are able to place a wide range of products to include Commercial Business Insurance (SME & Corporate), Commercial Motor (Fleet & Trade), Private Clients (HNW) and Personal Lines.
Your duties as a Handler will be to manage your own clients, administer and service renewals for Commercial Business policies such as Commercial Combined, Contractors, Liabilities, Property, PI and BI. Clients will be mid market level and will require you to demonstrate relationship management skills, ensuring that that their risks are placed strategically with insurance coverages being taken into first consideration.
You will manage your own renewals as well as provide broking support to Directors in the business.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years + experience of working in a similar role in either open market, E-trade or schemes broking, ideally with experience in developing client relations and renewing larger level client risks. Ongoing training and development will be provided however candidates wishing to apply must possess knowledge of Commercial Insurance products and must be able to demonstrate experience in renewal preparation and broking policies.
